Research interest:

Infectious Disease: Pathogenesis & Control, Virology,
Epidemiology, Bioinformatics, Epigenetics,
& Cell Biology.

Contributions:

Dr. Hoque has demonstrated that a heating method as simple as heating the expressed breast milk in a pan over a stove to 65°C inhibited HIV-1 transmission  retaining milk’s nutritional key elements. This information is very helpful for HIV-positive mothers as the technique is simple, handy and cost-effective that HIV-positive mothers could apply easily, yet with more confidence, and popularity.

2008 GOTO AWARD for Excellent Research Activity, presented by Gunma University Graduate School of Medicine.

2008 GOTO AWARD for Excellent Presentation and Discussion, presented by Gunma University Graduate School of Medicine.

DHAKA UNIVERSITY AWARD (1998-2003) for better discipline, presented by University of Dhaka
